About This Website

This current layout was designed by me. My web designs always start off as various doodles on post-it notes, spaces in my appointment book, and any sheet of paper I see laying around. Eventually I stop dreaming about the design and actually sit down at the computer for many many hours and build me a site! For this layout, I used the high resolution foliage Photoshop brushes made by the very talented Jason Gaylor of Designfruit to make the graphics on the top right and bottom left.

I don't update this website as much as I should... oops! I do have big plans for this website, so bookmark it and keep checking back! Soon enough, dearies, soon enough...

Enough of all that... who is Katie Fletcher?

I have been taking photographs for as long as I remember... and I've been designing websites since I was in the 7th grade. This website is a combination of two loves.

I enjoy traveling, spending time with my husband and dog, and watching the Astros on TV. I dislike mosquitos, the bacteria count in the Gulf of Mexico (but I still love Galveston Island), and people who abuse animals (shame on you!). I currently live in The Woodlands and work a local university

I occasionally shoot weddings and engagement photos for friends and friends of friends. If you're looking for a wedding or portrait photographer, please contact me!

I graduated with Honors (I have to mention that part because otherwise all those extra classes and work will have been for nothing) from Sam Houston State University in May 2007 where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Photography (and a minor in Mathematics!).
